We adopted Pepper from the shelter late October 2016. I'm really not sure what compelled me to go to the Humane Society website, as it is severely depressing and I've been considering becoming a foster for some time now. When I seen this 14 year old lady, surrendered after being with the same family her whole life, I knew she would not make it out of there alive. To Honor Snickers life, I chose to save another.
